Okay so for the past 3 weeks i've been feeling this sort of discomforting pain in my joints and muscles which i've never seemed to feel before. This is not the same feeling that you get when your just starting working out as i've been doing it activly for a couple of years now and any type of pain i've encountered had went away after a while. the source of the pain seems to be coming from my knuckles ( but only when i tend to stretch it in certain ways or have put a fair amount of pressure on it),my shoulder, my right knee, my elbow (right), and my feet//ankles. My shoulder i seemed bad first when i had gone swiming last month in Maine, it all of a sudden made some kind of pop or cracking noise in which i thought had gone away put now it seem to feel it whenever i accidently sleep on it or try to stretch it around in certain motions. My knuckles ( from the second knuckle down to the bottom one)hurt in both arms but mostly in my left as thats my dominate one. I believe this was caused by a combination of my jujutsu studies (martial arts) and me working out. I seemed to have felt it the most whenever i gripped on to something too hard or did curls with the curved bar or any type of free weight. In jujutsu, i never seemed to have felt much pain unless i had in a demonstation with my instructor with a certain technique, in which he had ended up pulling my joints in my hand in a certain motion, but that eventaully went away until the next morning, which is also why my ankles hurt due to all of the kneeling we do in the beginning of class. My elbow i believe could have been caused by just various workouts invovling my arms like curls or this curl machine in which i have to lay down on this bench and pull myself up to do a curl which can sometime cause a discormfort in my elbow.
Hopefully my description has been made clear to anyone reading this if not let me know and i'll try to get more detailed. As far as what exercises i do, i usually do the V-sqats, curling with curved bar (not free weights), i don't bench the way most people do i do it with a machine (the ones where your back is slightly curved out so your torso is on the edge of seat), leg curls, seated row, etc. I do weight that is not too much, but comfortable for me in a way in which it doesn't feel painful for me. I try my best to do each exercise as a slow pace. As far as treatment goes i have been to the suana, the hot tube at my ymca, and have streched each joint out, taking IBP, and have tried putting ice on it as well as muscle rub. They all do a nice job in numbing the pain a little especially the IBP but i was just wondering what else is here that i could do to treat it. I am considering on going to the doctor if it continues, and i've also thought about buying some equipment for my elbows wrists as they hurt the most right now.
