Calories are the secret to weight loss.

All you need to know is there are 3500 calories in a pound of fat

You need about 1600 calories to survive each day with know physical activity.

If you minus 500 calories per day for 7 days you will lose 1 pound per week.

if you exercise like jogging for 30 mins- 1 hour each day burning about 500 calories as well you will lose another pound per week (500 calories=1 lbs)

This will allow you to lose 2 lbs per week..... which is 8 lbs per month.

You can jump start you diet by drinking 8 glasses of water each day and see your water weight jump off you at about 5 lbs in 2-3 days!!!!

so far that is 8+5= 13 lbs per month!!!


Do the math for your self by going to a site that calculates the exact amount of calories to eat for your height and size to lose weight.

I'd spend some time reading the stickied threads around the forum - there's a ton of good information and clear up some misconceptions you seem to have...

Why go around preaching when you're not too sure of the subject yourself?

if I need to lose 50 lbs that is..........

you're clearly going about it in the wrong way...

And you need to really spend some time reading...

What are your current stats...

you want to focus on 1 lb at a time with the 50lbs as your goal -but not getting too hung up ona number...
