BJJ or Brazilian jiu jitsu is an awesome martial art. I have been doing it for about 2 years now and i honestly think it is an awesome way to stay in shape. I cleaned up my diet and joined jiu jitsu when i was 215 lbs now im 175 and a lot stronger then i used to be. I have also done boxing and muy tai kick boxing. I think if you want to be a well rounded fighter or just well rounded just incase you need to defend yourself boxing/judo or jiu jitsu is the best combination. But then again I dont know anything about the other arts. I would really recomend jiu jitsu to woman. I think it is a great rape prevention/self protection art. And to all those people out there who liked wrestling in high school or the military jiu jitsu is not that much different and you would be able to pick it up very very quickly.
