Jello & Pudding

Jello Gelatine and Jello Chocolate Pudding are fat and sugar free. They do contain the possible carcinogen aspartame - but other than this potential health risk, any reason I would want to avoid these for a healthy dessert?

Oooo, I'll have to try that.

While looking it up I found a very basic recipe that looks pretty good:
1. Make cubes of your favorite gelatine, put it in a cup/serving-bowl
2. Cover with a layer of vanilla pudding

Why didn't I think of that?

i don't eat that fake stuff anymore. i did to drop the 25 lbs, but i was always afraid of the health risks.

i treat myself to the good stuff once in a great while!

I've seen a live pig slaughtered, it's body chopped up, and then it's meats stuffed into its own intestines, cooked it, and eaten it.

I'm not phased by Jello :)

lol Fil thats pretty downright....well interesting. The closest ive come to that is shooting my own deer or dove, cleaning it and then eating it lol

come on shimmering....for those of us who dont know (such as myself) please tell....what the hell is gelatine made out of?????.....

do a google search but basically gelatine is made from melted down left over parts of the cow - the hoofs primarily, if i'm not mistaken. being a vegetarian i dont eat the stuff, but i dont think i would even if i wasnt one, LOL!

interesting.. have any of you actually tried these the flavored ones for instance? if they really do taste like jello i might have to give 'em a try.

i understand how you feel, the jello company goes to great lengths to not be open about what they make their product from. a lot of people grow up with it and have no idea what they're really eating.
