So here we go AGAIN!
I have been sitting at this same weight loss and bodyfat spot for about 6months now. THere has been a little bit of yo-yo..ing up and down about 5 pounds and 2-3% but other then that things have remained the same.
I am 33. I have 2 children 4 and 2 yrs old. I have the luxury of staying home with them and it was my need for ME time that sparked my interest in our health club a year ago. I took up tennis and lost all the baby weight and got pretty toned but that alone still left things small but not really tight.
I hit a high of 143 this week during PMS that drove me over the cliff. Every month I progress and then around that TOM I gain and crave and just toss all of my efforts out the window in irritation.
I started weight training a few weeks ago and I really like the way things look but I have not reconciled the weight increase even though things look more toned. I battle the desire to be smaller with the desire to be fit and toned. In this last leg of my journey I will hopefully find the right balance. I may find that my target weight is set too low given the desired results but either way I am knocking it out in August so I can push through this last most difficult 15 pounds and 5-8% bodyfat that wants to HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE!

Bodyfat 18.5
Height 5' 7"
Waist 26.5"
Hips 35.5"
Thighs 21.5"
My schedule will be as follows
Running 30 min M-Sat
Weights MWF with abs and calves M-Sat
Tennis 2 hrs a day M-Sat.....4 hrs some Tues and Thurs.
Eating- To get to my ultimate goal I will be trying to stay within 150 calories of my BMR which is about 1450. I will increase that if my activities increase greatly on a given day....for example some days I burn 2000 calories playing tennis and I will need MORE FUEL. My macronutrient ratios will be about 45% protein 35% carbs and 20% fat. I will cycle carbs to 50% every 4th day. My biggest vice is alcohol
which I SO MUCH enjoy and will be limiting to Saturdays. Sat is my Free day but I will not exceed 1800 calories on that day.
Hopefully through the help of this thread...the current challenge of 2lbs a week and LOTS of will power....I can finally push through this last leg of my fitness journey....maintaining is so much easier than fighting to get there all the time!!!!
