Cowboy- Oh my goodness I am the same way with nachos, the way I was eating them reminded me of a vacuum cleaner sucking up a big pile of dust
lol, it was pretty ridiculous. Oh well, I guess I needed the comfort food and I'm ready to eat healthy and get my routine back on track. I'm going to keep fighting fight and just try and take it one day at a time.
Lisa- Hi Lisa! It's so much harder to get up some mornings then others isn't it? Sometimes I just hop out of bed with no effort and other mornings I reset my alarm 10 times until I'm late for work. I can see how its going to be a bit of a challenge now that you've stopped smoking since it was such a routine for you but your body will get used to it and you will be getting a good nights rest and you will be springing out of bed in no time. I agree with you, no more ruining a full week of hard work with junk on the weekends, I'm ready to make some changes!
Tally- Thank you Tally! Buying the dress made me want to work even harder to reach my goals to wear cute summer outfits and feel cute in them. I hate that "I feel fat" feeling, It feels so much better to look in the mirror and be happy with what you see, so I'm working towards it.
Yesterday was a great start to the week food and workout wise. I stuck to my meal plan- zero cheating- the only thing I didn't stick to was that I wasn't hungry enough to eat my pretzels and cheese so I was a little low on protein for the day. I haven't been wanting "real" food for dinner for the past 2 weeks and still wasn't wanting it yesterday so I had cornflakes with skimmed milk for dinner and a side of steamed broccoli- strange I know but I really love broccoli lol. I was so exhausted after dinner and finally fell asleep and slept for a good solid 3 hours which is huge progress for me. I got up and really had to push myself to throw on workout clothes and went on the treadmill for 25 minutes at 3.8 and 3.5 incline and burned 155 calories. It was all I could sum up the energy for but I felt good about it. I couldn't fall back asleep and ended up reading until 2:30am so I could not get up at 6:30am this morning like I planned to to get a workout in but I'm fine with that, I always have a big workout planned while watching the biggest loser on Tuesdays. I have a healthy lunch packed and I'm looking forward to making it healthy day number two. I spoke to my mom last night about starting our walks again that we usually do in the spring and summer and she's on board to start whenever I am, so I'm really looking forward to that and will probably start tomorrow. I am going to Texas during the first week of June for my cousins graduation and I'm determined to lose some weight, tone up and look great in a great dress by then so I have new goals and new motivation to get there. Here's what today looks like:
B- 1 packet cream of wheat and ff yogurt
S- 1/2 cup of dry cheerios and 1 cup of fresh strawberries and blueberries
L- Campbells Hearty Noodles hot & sour soup (190 cals) and 1 cup of sauteed cabbage
S- 6 mini pretzels dipped in laughing cow cheese and a mango
S#2- cucumber slices
D- undecided
Workout- stepper, treadmill and stationary bike

, even after a terrible emotional night last night
, I'm staying strong. Here's what today looks like:
With not having much energy this week I wouldn't worry about not working out every day - you are slowly getting back into a routine and your body will appreciate the rest. Your eating was great so I think it was an awesome day. Your friend probably appreciated the time on the phone too so it's a win-win.
The left over food from yesterday is still here and I'm still going strong with resisting them, it's probably helpful that I don't have much of an appetite otherwise I would of probably caved by now. Here's what today looks like:
