Im back to the forums after a year or so...

I have been successful in my weightloss.. Thankful to have the support i did here in the forums..I weighed 245lbs..with a healthier lifestyle i was able to get down to 160lbs.. It was an incredible feeling!

and here i am AGAIN.. :O) I have put on a few pounds...Oh ok 21 lbs to be exact.. and i am determined to get back down to 160 lbs..!!

So i just wanted to introduce myself to you all..I will be here often!

Level 1 - completed half of the workout..too intense..in pain already..

My ultimate goal i would love to reach is 130lbs..I have a mini goal of 20lbs i would like to lose by September.

I try to not eat over 1200 calories a day. Im just pretty much eating healthier, staying away from bad carbs, cut out sugar , sodium, BAD FATS.

For example: In the morning i will have a slimfast shake ( many people are against this) But i HATE BREAKFAST.. and it replaces it..

Lunch i will have a sandwich..Whole wheat bread, lite mayo with a few slices of turkey or ham. I also have a fruit..or I will have a bowl of cheerios..or lean pockets..or a tuna salad..

Dinner..CHICKEN CHICKEN :) with some veggies or with a salad or baked potato no butter, lite sour cream, soup, bbq'd drumsticks,

evening snack apples with peanut butter, or some peanuts..

I dont count each and every calorie. I go insane when i do..If i cook something for the family and something i really shouldnt be eating..I still allow myself to eat it.. Just using portion control. about less than half of what i would normally eat ..and i eat it very slow..

I completely cut out juices, pop. Strictly only water..No diet stuff..

As for exercise right now im doing poor! I am still recovering from my workout i did my first day..I was in terrible pain! My goal is 30 minutes cardio in the morning and Evening walk 5 miles..

RJ - Thanks for the resources will look into them :) I remember Steve if its the same Steve from back then..He was a great help!! My diet plan this time is the same as last..The one that worked for me..Just eating healthier , sticking to 1200 calories a day and walk walk walk..

P/s: 1200 cals is a bit on the low side and I think (but this is just me) it might be why you have put 20 pounds back on, why don't you try upping it to a more sustainable 1500 cals, that you will be able to hold for a long time? Just my 2 cents.
 
Camy - :) Hi and thanks for your advice :) Sadly my 20lbs came from unhealthy eating..We did pizza every weekend burger king or mcdonalds at least twice a week..Both my husband and i started that bad habit..New job, no time to cook..eating right before bed time..all excuses for me..

For me to lose weight I cannot eat more than 1200 calories a day..Its taken months for me to find what worked best for me.. When im done dieting and time for me to maintain i can stick to around 1600-1800..

I think its time to record what i eat each day..Maybe i am taking in to much sodium? My legs look TERRIBLE!!!

9am: Slimfast shake 240 cal - 1 small pancake w/drizzle of syrup

12pm: AHH the shake again..too lazy to fix a meal..Lots of running around to to.. 240 cal

3pm: 6in Spicy Italian Subway sandwich around 550 cal (lite mayo wheat bread)

6pm: The rest of my sandwich 550 cal

roughly around 1600 calories today..

Bagels w/ peanut butter
1/2 Baked Potato, with skin, w/lite sourcream (no salt no butter)
1 cup coffee teaspoon sugar

Slim Fast Shake 240

Snack: 192 cals
Bagel w/plain cream cheese



Total calories today: 1228
