I've lost 40 pounds, need help losing another 40 :)

Hi all,

Well i'm new here, I'm from Australia. I'm a 22-year-old female, I work as a journalist in a PR field. I'm studying to become a teacher. I've always been overweight (well as long as I can remember) and after hitting my heaviest 238 pounds I've since dropped to 198 pounds or from 108.1kgs, to 90kgs. Anyway I'm heading to America for a 6 week holiday in about 7 and a half weeks and I'm trying to budge about 10-15pounds before I go. I've recently started going to the gym 4-5 days a week, and going for a run 1 day week, my sessions vary from 30-60 minutes. I'm lucky as I have a gym at work so can go at lunch.

Basically I am looking for any advice on how to get fit and shed the weight as quickly as possible. I know how to eat really well and I'm doing interval training and a lot of cardio and some limited weights, stretching and core strengthening.

Any other tips?

I look forward to hearing from you and giving and receiving advice.

Cheers,

Steph.

I'd say you need to start counting calories and getting by with the least amount as possible but healthy. Once you reach a high level of weight loss, attention has to be paid to the little things. More HIIT, less cardio, more dieting, less cheat days. It will happen but you have to be very dedicated.
