I've got a goal and I'm sticking to it!

Hello everyone!!
I was a member of this forum a few years back and was somewhat successful, but fell back into old habits. A few months ago I started the Curves diet - which worked AMAZINGLY, but just got back from a 3 week trip and have regained pretty much all of my weight, I am at my peak weight of 183lbs at 5'10" - My goal weight long term is around 160lbs - Reading and such says I shoudl be 150lbs, but I don't see that happening so I am sticking to 160 and we'll see how that goes. I find that dieting isn't always quite enough - so I am hoping to lose 8-10lbs in the next 3 weeks (shouldn't be hard since all I've eaten in the last 3 weeks has been fast food etc) for back to school - I am a teacher so September is like my new years - and I'd like to start it off right.
Anyway, I'm just looking for some support - and some people who I can support back :)
Thanks
Nicole

You probably didn't actually gain twenty pounds in three weeks. Some of those pounds should just melt away if you've started a diet and exercise plan again. You should be able to go down ten pounds in three works if you're working at it. I'd suggest drinking a lot of water. It should flush out some of the remnants of the fast food diet. You can do this.

Teachers are underappreciated. People forget the planning and the grading and just end stripping it down to nine months of 8-3 (or whatever it may be). You deserve more good will :). Good luck on your goal weight.
