Ok, over the past couple weeks I know there are have been changes & improvements, but just realized that this time I could very well work this out & finally lose weight.... much easier than I ever thought possible.
How?
Well, it started a couple weeks ago when hubby & I were talking and started paying attention more specific to calorie intake. Most days I was "lucky" if I ate 1k calories/day. We talked about how it seems "odd" but perhaps I needed in actually increase calorie intake to reduce the weight.
No idea why it didn't dawn on me earlier that THAT could very well be the reason for my lack of energy and weight gain... That my body has been storing any and all it can since it wasn't getting enough nutrients.
So a couple weeks ago I started increasing calories.... more meals (small of course) and adding in snacks (healthy). Some days I feel like I am eating ALL DAY, but most days now I am "lucky" if I eat 1,800 calories, usually closer to 1,300.
Well, this morning I was ready through more sticky topics and read the one by AllCdnBoy about "cheat days". I don't have actual cheat days, simply allow myself a treat once in a while, which isn't even weekly.
Then I actually calculated things up and broke down my recent stats:
4/7 at last Doc appt weight was 335 (or 340 - I can't remember)
5/29 when I started the account here, weight was 317 (this is where I started increasing calories)
6/8 for June challenge weigh-in weight was 314.2 (w/combined loss of 4 3/4" overall body)
6/11 weight this morning was 308.9 -- which I know can (probably will) fluctuate between now & the "June challenge" weigh-in on Tues (the 15th) But hoping that the numbers drop even more by then.
Since increasing calories:
- my weight has gone down
- my measurements have gone down
- clothes feel a bit more loose
- my energy level is higher
- my stamina is increasing so I can do more for longer periods of time

Ok, I know I am very far off my goal & have a very long way to go. But this increasing calories (healthy ones of course) has really helped SO much.
I am oh so happy & so much more motivated after breaking down the stats & seeing the results
