All my life I've been heavier set and its always bothered me. It wasn't until last summer I really started to try and lose weight by stopping the soda intake and getting myself more active. Since then I have lost 29 pounds (Yes, its been a slow process) going from 213 to 184 currently. Some tell me I should be just about at the right weight for my age (17) but I dislike this because I still look like I did when I was 213. I still have a big gut, double chin, and big legs/arms. If I'm nearing the requested weight for my age and height (5'10 or 5'11) then why do I still have all this fat? For people like me is it truly impossible to ever get thin?
P.S. I checked the online BMI and I'm still in the overweight section, but only by a point. Shouldn't I have noticed at least some difference?
