It's me.......again!!

It has been such a long time since I posted here that I thought I had better introduce myself again as most members probably won't remember me!!

So hi, I'm Chris (obviously) and I haven't trained properly for about 6 months due to injury (rotator cuff so, lengthy recovery!) and, during that time I have also given up smoking (over 4 months now!) and diet has gotten a little poor too! I haven't gotten totally out of shape and am probably hovering at around 160lbs at about 15% bf (approx!)

I cancelled my gym membership ages ago as I didn't want to pay when I couldn't train. I now have set up a gym at home and have started training again lifting low weights, high reps on the doctors advice so as not to aggravate my shoulder.

Anyways, I'm back, I'm putting a diet and a workout programme together and, as before, goal is to hit 10% bf before putting a bit of size on.

:)

Yo whats up Chris!!

Good to hear from you again!

Hey LV, hows things? Its been a horrible 6 months, really frustrating not being able to train!! cuff injury was horrible, at one point I couldn't even raise my arm 45 degrees!!

I'm so glad I can lift again, albeit baby weights at the moment. As long as I don't overdo it, I'm hoping to be fully recovered in just a few months :)

Hey Chris, good to see you managed to kick the fags for good. Shame about the rotator cuff, how did you do it? Was it progress or a one-off trauma that caused it?

Hey man. Yeah, the smoking thing has been tough but, I used the patches (until a few weeks ago) and I very rarely even have cravings anymore :)

The rotator cuff was a combination. I had a progressive injury before and the shoulder was weaker than the other one but, not so bad it gave me training problems. Then one day, I fell over (a cross trainer of all things!!) and saved myself - the shoulder took the full force through my arm and, 2 days later, I could barely move it!! I have been extremely careful not to start lifting again too soon but, it doesn't feel too bad at the moment.

Welcome back Chris - despite not working out it sounds like you've gotten quite a bit healthier (recovering from injury and quitting smoking) since you last darkened these doors.

Another familiar face! Hi Stingo. Definitly healthier for not smoking but, recovering from the injury kind of cancelled itself out by not enabling me to train!! Either way, I'm happy to be back :)

Welcome Back brotha.
I had shoulder surgery to years back not on my rotator cuff just a dislocated shoulder the recovery is not as long but still sucks. Great to have you back

welcome back (even though I wasn't here when you left) :)
sorry to hear about your injury, but glad you are recovering from it.

and major congrats on quitting smoking!!!
