Hi! :waving: Here I am, coming back like a full grown idiot to lose the same weight I have been trying to lose for years. :rolleyes:

That said, I am doing something I have never attempted before. I have totally revamped the way I cook dinners for my family. I invested in a Biggest Loser and Weight Watchers cookbook and prepairing meals like this for the whole family instead of having a Lean Quizine while feeding my family things like speghetti...that is destined to failure. :p I have also changed foods I regularly make to cut out the fat. I have lost 12 lbs 14 oz since the new year. I am also now going to be adding in the exercise. I TiVo'd some exercise programs on Fit Tv and will be trying those out...and I have a great treadmill too. :)

Another thing I have changed in the area of cooking is how I use meat. I detest touching meat. I would always just use tongs and take whatever meat I was cooking right out of the package and put it in the pan I was cooking it in. I wouldn't touch it until it was cooked. Now, I work it over and cut any bit of fat off that I possibly can. The cuts of meat I buy are already lean, but I like to get anything off I can see. It is really paying off...the best part? I can totally do this forever! I even made a whole-grain pizza the other day with turkey italian sausage and low-fat cheese....MMMMMMMMM....I definitely have NOT been missing out on flavor or filling meals! I despise deprivation! Oh yeah...and I've made another friend...the wassa crispbread. We're pals. LOL
 
Oh wait! I have to say that there is one more thing I am doing differently that I have NEVER done before.....I am weighing in ONCE a week on Monday morning...that's it. Previous 'diets' included stepping on the scale 5 - 10 times EVERY day. I banished myself from the bathroom scale with the exception of every Monday morning (something I thought I could never do before)...and to be honest? I am LOVING it!
 
woooh hehe that sounds amazing^^ you are doing great. and a whole grain pizza? mmmm sounds delicious =D and that is great about the 12 pounds your lost already. fun fun fun... does the rest of your family love the change in the meals?!
