I've been running in the basement all winter haha it's only 50 or so down there so for the first five or so minutes I have to wear a hoodie but after that down to shorts and a tank top

Weather

Hi - We've had some cold days also here recently and sometimes my limbs feel like ice cubes and all I want to do is curl up in bed or on the couch to get warm. Since I'm not a member at a gym right now I am trying to do some of the things I've learned with trainers here at home using hand weights, a resistance band and exercise and yoga dvd's. My daughter and I also use her Wii Fit. Doing lunges from one end of the house to the other also helps.

When its cold out and can't really go walking, I tend to hit the weights more inside the house, and find other cardio to do, like beating the hell out of the heavy bag.

Hello Big D,

Once your commited in your mind on where you want to go and how you want to look and feel for the new you in your future there are no excuses...

Sorry about some tuff love here but it just sounds like an excuse that your using to justify not to exercise. If you really want to reach your weight goals you will find a way...

I do understand if its cold outside it is a hassle sometimes to get going in it...But you could also stay home and turn on one of the many work-out programs on TV and just simply join in right at home...

Also remember that excuses is what keeps many of us from reaching many of goals in life so don't let your mind talk you into things that will keep you where you are at in life today or where you want to go or become in your future...

Wishing you much Success...

lol you babies. Gotta confront the cold sometime.

You should all learn to adapt, because staying inside and isolating yourself is a big reason you got overweight in the first place.
