Hi

I was just wondering if there was something that currently does not fit you that you are looking forward to fit at some point on your journey. It can be any kind of goal, beginning middle or end.

:( I had to take off my beautiful wedding rings during my pregnancy and I am currently wearing a $9.00 silver band. I am working towards getting those rings back on my finger again. I am hoping by the time I have lost 30lbs they will fit again. I have 17lbs more to go.

Hmm, that reminds me. About 2 months (I think) I was trying on old shirts since I'd lost about 20 pounds. Most of them were shirts I could wear but they weren't comfortable enough to wear to school. I've lost another 20 pounds since then, I should go try those suckers on again! :) Maybe the couple shirts that didn't fit at all will be the shirts I can wear just not to school. WHAT?? Lol. Anyways, I'll try some of those on later.

Buying new clothes was one of my goals during every stage of the loss for me. I loved it . Good luck to you. It's worth it. One of my goals was to be able to shop at a "designer store" not the big and tall.

Buying clothes at Ayres & Lazarus rocks!! You can and will do it!!:D

Good luck

I have a few pairs of jeans and favorite pants that I wore before I had my 2nd child 1 1/4 years ago. I have kept them folded up and put away in my closet with full intentions of being able to wear them again. I think I only have about 20 - 30 more lbs to lose until I can wear them comfortably again!!! I had actually just pulled them out today to look at them. One of them I could get pulled up, but not buttoned. It is a great motivator! Since I am only watching the scale and not measuring myself, it will be a great way to see the difference in my size. I can't wait to fit them again! I know it is going to be the best feeling!!!

It is so exciting moving towards these goals. I still keep a pair of my size 7 skinny jeans from when I lost a lot of weight when I was 16 (they are light blue and tapered early 90's totallly would never wear them now). Eventhough I know I will probably never fit them I keep them just in case.

My skinny jeans.
And shorts...I never wear shorts now. I only ever wear skirts. That's because the only good part of my body is my lower legs...my calves and such. My upper legs are too big fo rmy liking...so I'd like them to be smaller so that when I wear shorts I wouldn't look rediculous.

Boy how I miss my skinny jeans. I have a pair of size 2's from about 7th grade. Not that I'll ever be able to fit into them again. But they are fun to look at. :(

Ah, yes. I have a pair of jeans and two shirts that I really like but grew out of them almost as soon as I bought them. My wife has tried to get rid of them but I tell her that they will fit again. THEY WILL FIT AGAIN!

I took out the jeans yesterday. It was a little discouraging looking at them, trying to stuff myself into them. The road ahead is long and perilous.

i bought a pair of shorts and a skirt yesterday that fit, but they were a little snug...and so i'm definitely looking forward to wearing them once i lose about 10-15 lbs! it's good motivation!

Even though the jeans look impossibly small, I will use them as a motivational tool. I will get into them by this fall. I am determined.

I have a few outfits that I bagged up to go to good will b/c they were too small. I saved some my favorite things, though. One is a tiny skirt suit that I fit in about 4 years ago. I hope to be able to fit in it this fall.

Another motivator is that I'm finally going on a honeymoon to the Keys in October. I'm hoping to be small enough to be able to wear a bikini. :D

I found that I am physically able to get into my jeans and even buttom them but there is still a long way to go before I can wear them comfortably. Ugh! I could barely breathe with them on.

i know the feeling its tough walking around and not breathing lol. my waist is like the last thing to go. i did get a pair of jeans lastnight at walmart and its been forever since i could wear anything from a store shelf lol.

yes, a pair of gold satin pants from Banana Republic that I bought knowing that they were too small for me....

When I was younger (probably 17 or 18), whenever I would babysit my nieces I would try on my sister's clothes. I know this is silly, but my sisters always had really nice clothes, and back then I could barely fit into them.

Since that time I have gained weight and they have lost it.

I want to be in the position again where I can go over to their house, sneak into the closet, and try on that beautiful blouse my sister just bought. :p

jeans

I tried on a pair of Eddie Bauer size 18 jeans, when I lost 20 pounds and wore a size 18 before I got pregnant. They looked nice, but were too expensive, so I put them back. That was over 5 years ago, and I have not been a size 18 since. When I get back down there, I am going to go get my jeans, even if I don't stay that size but a month. I hope to be down to at least a 16 by Christmas! :D

the skirt I wanted to get into I finally got into.. but I want to get into mediums and such.. tired of being large.. and extr large. I cn fit some mediums now.. so I am getting hopeful.

My first goal was to be able to get into all the clothes from the first time I lost weight. I had gotten down to a size 16 and had a rather nice wardrobe and then went back up to a 24 :( I managed that one with a lot of hard work. Then when I completed that I went out and bought myself my first little black dress is a size 12/14. That's the one in my current "after" pic. The latest goal is of course my wedding dress and an awesome pair of gap jeans! Both in size 10. I get giddy just thinking about it:D

I've been using clothes as an incentive through this whole battle it seems to work wonders for me. I'll even take the clothes in question and hang them right on the wall where I can see them all the time. It really helps.

I have a couple of cute summer sundresses that I'd love to get in again. I wouldn't have to lose alot of weight to do it, but I don't know if I'll get into them yet this summer or not. If I don't, then I guess I'll have to give them away, because by next summer, I'll be way too tiny for them!! :D

I have a pair of jeans and a shirt that I was able to wear just two years ago, If I can get to the 100's by the end of august... I can be back in them again before the year is out!
