Well, it seems I have defied the term "overuse" injury because I started having IT band pain on my second run ever.
I thought it was getting a little better but after this morning's run I'm in pretty bad shape (after only 3 miles). It's been a month and a half and this is still going strong. I left a message with a Sports Medicine place to make an appointment and still haven't heard back.
Is this something I can get over or is it a lifelong struggle?
