Sport Is this true?

Sport Fitness
I read a comment on another forum from a pretty big sized/well known member, and I'd like to know if it was true or not.

He said he'd been eating like crap but still lifting for the past few months, and he gained a little bit of fat because of his poor diet. He said once he upped his protein a bit and cleaned up his diet completely he actually lost some body fat while gaining muscle still.

Is this true/possible?

Its possible but impractical. This type of gain won't last long though.

How long on average would it usually last? And how much fat is expected to be lost if the diet is extremely clean and everything?

Any background info on how this works would be appreciated too, stuff like this interests me.

I have, but the only time I've read you can usually lose fat and gain muscle is during n00b gains, this was something new I read and it interested me.

Stop bumping!! :D

The answer has already been given: it is highly unusual, not very practical, and won't last. So, to be short, it's not gonna happen for most of us. Concentrate on one or the other and your results will be much better!

Good luck!
