Ok, so, I joined the Wellness Committee at my work, and we created a Biggest Loser competition for employees. This was started on November 1st and is running through February 1st.
So my stats, I am a 29 year old male, 5'11" and weigh 324 lbs (what I weighed November 1st).
My plan consists of running/jogging/walking (for at least 45 mins/3.5 miles) on the treadmill in the afternoons, and the same, but for 30 mins, in the mornings (the morning sessions I have only done twice). Also I do one, 45 minute boot camp sessions after work on Thursdays. I also cut out all soda and most of my vices (pizza, calzones, cheese bread, fast food, ice cream, etc).
Right now, I am averaging about 2.8-3.0 lbs lost a week. However, all I hear about is how the onlyhealthy way is to lose 1 lbs a week. I feel like, with my greater weight, that 3 lbs a week should be fine, especially considering I haven't done any gimmicky diets (low cards, all liquid). Any thoughts?
