Is this a good plan?

Hey, i need help with my weight loss plan, ive always done cardio but now want to lose weight and get more muscle definition.

Im 20, 5'2 and about 140lbs and wanna be around 125lbs.
Im just started counting calories/ watching what i eat and now eating 1500 cals a day.
I do 5 hours cardio a week - including HIIT on treadmill, incline training, swiming, bike etc.
I just started doing Jillian michaels 30 day shred circuit training 5 times a week.
I do weight training 4 times a week which is:
mon: chest, shoulders, triceps, quads
tues: back, biceps, glutes, hams, abs
thus: chest, shoulders, triceps,quads,
fir: back biceps, glutes, hams, abs

ive done this look like a good routine?
thanks for reading

So by my count you're doing 11 and 1/2 hours of exercise a week, is that right? That could be problematic down the road, you might lose a bunch of weight and the last 10 will not give up, if you start hurting a lot back off on the cardio a little bit.

I would also bring the intensity of your cardio down on weight lifting days so you don't burn out. Work at the point where you can't breathe through your nose anymore without being extremely uncomfortable. (that's kind of the basis for the 360 cardio program (I can't post the link but if you want to look it up just google it) which I've seen awesome results from)

If you just started working out I would absolutely back everything off and let your body adjust, your tendons don't heal as fast as muscle so you need to let them ease into that much volume.

30 day shred is awesome, keep that for sure.

As far as your weights go I would do change it up to a total body workout 3 times a week, the reason is that you're not going to be doing a ton of weight so your body is going to have time to recover. Also that will allow you to do intense circuit training while you lift so that you burn a lot of extra calories.

Make sure you're eating a little bit more on days you workout more intense, your calorie requirement increases on hard workout days.

Overall how do you feel doing this program?
Do you sleep well and enough?
