Is this a good meal plan?

ok so first off im 238 and i need to get to 200 pounds to get back in shape for football season and my regular dieting before season isnt working im just wondering if this is a good meal plan.

Morning- string cheese stick, sliced apple pieces

Afternoon- a bigger meal that depends on what i can cook its all healthy though but is just a bigger than normal meal.

Dinner- a can of slim fast and a bowl of soup

comments, critiques, advice?
 
I'd say you have to add more food in the morning! it is the fuel you'll have for the day and it will prevent you from over eating during the day.
an apple and a string of cheese isn't enough

slim fast at night seems ok to me though
