Is it just my feeling or is it kind of true? The second chance!

Hi Fellow warriors of the "battle of the bulge",

I kinda have had this feeling looking at the "before and after" pics, here and online on other websites. The person on the before pic is the jelly bellied manboobed( for guys) lazy and every derogatory word that one might think of. The person on the "after" pic, however, is the slim, muscular Chiseled biceps dude or beautiful gorgeous woman that we all thought never existed! This may seem to make no sense to many of u, but i feel that due to some unseen reasons we fat people have a chance to create an impact on people, to change our lives, to make people sit up and notice "omg this fat piece of ass has turned into a greek god!" and the effort enough to lose so much weight, gives us the feeling we can conquer just about every summit there is to be conquered! This is something other wise fit people or normally slim people dont get! the second chance!

I didnt know what made me blurt all that but those are my feelings being a warrior of the fight against fat. What are ur views on this friends?:p:p

No, this theory does nothing for me. It may give you a new lease on life but its got nothing to do with the lives of skinny people.

I absolutely agree with this sentiment. Back when I was obese, I was largely a different person than I am today. I wont say that losing weight changed my POV, but instead that I changed my point of view, and (main reason) decided to take on all my problems head on. Nowadays, I am a true optimist. I really think that the human mind is incredible, in that if you are determined enough, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

Hell, I think the first time I ever found this website, the before and after page showed me some jaw dropping transformations, and that REALLY inspired me to make a change in my life. And think, if you can do this, who knows, maybe you can inspire someone else overweight in your life, and thats awesome ;)
