Irritated Nerve In Mid-Back

Just in the past month, I have gotten back into a serious weight training regimen, after being lazy for about a year. After a few weeks into the start of my training I started noticing a strange Tingling/Numbness on the left side of my spine towards my middle back.. There is no pain, and the effected area is no bigger then a half dollar. basically It feels like the effected area has fallen asleep.

My question is, Has anyone else had a similar situation? And what can/and should be done to fix it, It is just irritating.. there is no pain. But I dont want to continue to hurt that area and make anything worse.

Thanks all.

Tom
