Ipod Nano or Shuffle?

I would go with the shuffle or one of the big ones. The Nano seems pointless to me.

I have the Shuffle now and am pretty pleased. I won it in a raffle.

I like my ipod... Its a 30gb video one from a couple years back. Lucky for me I bought the warranty because it broke 3 separate times and they kept sending me back refurbished ones... The last one they sent me has kept on working now for almost a year (fingers crossed)... I did however, just inherit a nano from my friend who didn't like hers. She got it from her ex-bf as a Christmas present, when she had specifically asked for a Zune, lol... So now I have that incase my big one finally bites the dust...

Neither... Iriver clix is what I have and I really like it.
FM, Video, Audio, txt files, games, custom themes, custom EQ, pics, SRS wow, unique navigation, and cool looking among many other features.

The Shuffle has horrible audio quality. And it can be frustrating when you want to hear a specific song or album/artist. As the only means of navigation is has is random switching.

Ipods are far overrated.

Also, check out other pmp/mp3 player brands. Such as Cowon, Iriver, and a bunch of others. Once you do you will be shocked how many players are out there that really put the ipod to shame.

yeah so I still haven't decided on what to get.

I'd prefer to just use my mp3 Sansa player that I have now because there really isn't anything wrong with it except that it's a bitch to transfer my songs from itunes onto it.

Still trying to decide but I need to decide soon because I'm ready to bang my head against the wall listening to the same 26songs while working out. :banghead:

thanks for the related responses!

I have a 160GB Ipod. I had a Sony 30GB MP3 player but it just didn't have the space I needed. Had heard a lot of bad things about the Ipods, but to be honest my one has held up fine so far. If I have it in my pocket while running though it will occasionally freeze up, which is annoying, but otherwise I'm happy with it.

I would say that if you are only going to use it to exercise, then a shuffle would be just fine. But if you want to watch videos or store a lot of music, the nano would be better, its what I have!

I have one of those 80GB video iPods. It holds a charge well, has good sound (though it could be louder), and is extremely easy to use which is important when I'm trying to switch tracks while going full speed on the elliptical.

My only gripe about it is it's a pain in the ass to add playlists. In fact I have not yet figured out how to do this without duping the tracks on the player.
