Introduction

Hi,

I've just been through a few operations after an accident, and as I was staring at my ravaged body in the mirror this morning, I found out that this might be a good time to start building my body the way I want it to be.

I've lost a couple of kilos in the last few days, and eaten nothing but rice and water. My theory is that even though I'm quite reduced at the moment, I have also gotten rid of a whole lof of crap in my system.
Maybe a few healthy meals and a good workout plan could be exactly what I need to jumpstart the good stuff.

Hints and tips, very much appreciated! :D

Hi G,

Well done on making a decision to change.

If you're recovering from surgery I would get off the rice and water diet fairly soon - eat lots of fresh vegetables, some fruit, nuts, seeds and lean proteins.

With regards to exercise start slowly - some bodyweight exercises would be a great option:

Squats
Push Ups
Sit Ups
etc
