Introduction

Hey all,

I'm age 16, 157kg (Yes, Really) Decided enough was enough and signed up!

Been dieting for years, with little success, being going to doctor etc, however the treatments have had little effect due to temptations of junk food etc.

Not too unfit considering my weight, although it does show...

Any advice on where to get started?

Where to start.. that's a great question!! There are tons of stickied threads, and those that aren't, around this site that are sure to help you find the start you are looking for. Everyone is different.

Start with anything, I'd say. Maybe think of something that you have been wanting to do for awhile and just do it. Maybe take a long walk, join a gym, get some dvd's... anything your lil heart desires. :)

I may start taking long walks some times soon, sounds like a plan.

Heya and welcome. 157kg is some decent numbers, you should see some awesomely fast weight loss to start off with. I started at a similar weight (just under that) and lost up to 10kg i think in the first week or so).
Unfortunatly the slimmer you get the slower you loose it so take time out to enjoy the cool numbers :)

I ma new to the forum i weigh 89kgs i am a lazy bum trying to push myself to exercise any advice?
 
the temptations are hard.
but they will mess you up in the long run.
processed foods as well as fast foods and junk food all take their toll, no matter how much your exercising or dieting.
i'd have to agree with the others who are saying to take long walks or join a gym
but the most important thing for you to do is find something you LIKE to do and stick with it, in addition to the diet

Hi! I am new too; I used to do a lot of treadmilling, but I have really let it slide for some reason, and I haven't been able to get back in to 'groove' (so to speak). There's always something "more important" to do... :(
