Introducing you to my weight issues

Hi I'm Emma. I'm 20 from Eaton Socon in Cambridgeshire. I started dieting when I was 166 lbs. I am now 159 lbs. My target weight is 100 lbs. I have 59 lbs to lose. I am 5'2. The only thing I've found that was good about gaining so much weight from a size 8 in just a year is that my bra size went up. I went from a size 34C and now I'm 36DD. Honestly thats how big I got. I'm so glad I lost 7 lbs already. As far as exercise is concerned I've been walking. Presuading myself to go to the gym. Cut down on my food intake and increased my water intake. I'd love to talk to some of you who weigh the same amount as me or just a little bit more. Share tips and advice etc. :hurray:

Hello and welcome to the forum!

You might start by checking out the sticky threads in both nutrition and exercise for tips to jump start your weight loss. You might also want to check out the tools section. I did a quick check on a BMI (body mass index) on your "target" weight and it indicates that at 100lbs you would be underweight. Now the BMI is more of a guideline rather than a set index, and I don't know what your body type is like but 100lbs might make you look too skinny! Maybe instead of shooting for a certain weight shoot for a dress size instead.

Again welcome and I hope this was helpful.

Cheers,
MissD

GOod luck with everything.
And I have the same issue too, with my weight came extra breasts, it's funny how those things just blow up with some weight.

I liked them better when I was healthier and thinner about 4 years ago.

Hey! welcome!

When I gained weight my breasts were a 38D and now im a large C so they do go down.

Congratz on the weight loss already you're doing great! don't give up!
