Introducing Myself

Hi there,

My name is Dean. Thanks to the creators and the team running this forum for setting it up to help people lose weight and live healthy.

I know how hard it is to control your weight but don't ever let anyone tell you that it cannot be done. What works for one person, may not work for you but that's okay since we all have different genes, metabolic levels, body types, and of course lifestyles.

Keep trying things out to determine what works for you. There are tons of material here and people are always willing to help. Don't take it too hard if you don't succeed at first. Most people don't get it right the first time.

That said, you also have to be realistic about your goals. If you have been trying to lose weight for several years without success, then something needs to change.

It doesn't matter if you are doing a paid or a free program. Both methods work if you follow the plan. The most difficult part is in controlling your mindset.

Good luck with all your weight loss plans for 2010.
 
Welcome to the community. Your intro post is "different" relative to what we typically see.
 
Thanks Steve. Some of my closest friends and relatives have given up on their weight loss goals and that's really sad. I am going to make sure I help people like them by sharing what little I know and just encouraging them really. My schedule is always full on but I will keep coming back here to contribute and encourage people. See you around mate !

Thanks Jericho and it's a valid comment. First, I didn't say I am an expert ;-) but I did say there are tons of free information online including my website. I too have paid programs I believe in which could help people but I will not be promoting them here.
