I am from Canada - east coast. Male, 38 years old, 6.0", 253lbs., Bodyfat: unknown. My main goal right now is losing fat while maintaining the strength and muscle I have. I would like to loose 30 lbs and re-evaluate from there.
I started 2010 at 283lbs - so I did lose 30 pound last year and have kept it off. I did this by cutting calories and walking/running 3-5 km, 2-4 times a week. It is clear now that I have to step it up a notch to see more results.
I am planning on adding weight training to my exercise routine and continuing with the running. Before I ask any questions I'm going to do a little more research. It seems like there's alot of really good info on this site and some very well informed and motivating people. Looking forward to becoming part of the online community here.
