JFK Art

Hello,

My name is Jake and I'm a 16 year old from San Francisco. I am an artist "by profession" and a student. My other love (and obsession) is for music. I am joining this forum for the same reasons I would join any other forum, to learn, to discuss, and to improve.

I have been quite overweight for years now and, for various reasons, I would like to change that. I have actually (somehow...) lost about 40 pounds in the past year or so and I am now at a much more manageable and yet still gratuitous weight. The most I can remember weighing is 249 and I now weigh 205-210 (depending on what scale I use hahaha) . I don't quite understand how I am loosing the weight but I want to continue doing it and make sure to not reverse the process. I would also like to build more muscle as I am weak in many areas of my body, namely my back.

I'd like to somehow work out a discrete program for myself that I may execute without the personal involvement of others. For whatever reasons this progression is very personal for me and I do not want others (even including those closest to me such as my parents) involved. I would need to be able to "workout" (exercise) in secret... It's not like my parents do not want me to loose weight or some such (it's quite the opposite) but some other thing is making feel this way. It's attributed to embarrassment of my weight most likely, or perhaps fear.

I love to eat delicious food (who doesn't?) and I understand that the key to loosing weight through diet is to burn more calories than you consume. In essence, the key is portion control...

I feel that I have some control over what I eat but I would be immensely grateful if you could help me write an exercise plan that I can follow discretely and without the use of equipment.

Thanks,
Jake
