I started at 260 pounds on November 6, 2006. I've pretty much just been watching what I eat and cutting out soda. I started by calorie counting and writing down everything. I soon got bored with that, after about a month and just decided that I knew what good and bad choices were.
Anyways, I've lost 28 pounds in only TWO months. Sure, I'm proud of myself and it's a great start. I can't really tell, though...other than my clothes are too big all the time. I feel better, I suppose... but I can't really tell in my face, etc. I didn't really take any before pictures, I wish I would've. My family has told me they can see it, though.
When did you start feeling like you were really losing...after how many pounds?
