In Need Of Help BADLY...

I have lost so much weight. I was 156 lbs. about a year ago, and now I'm about 137.

However, I am not SEEING the results. I still see the same old fat on my stomach, the same old rolls... What's going on?

I don't really exercise. However, I eat EXTREMELY well. That's what made me lose the weight. But I'm not seeing results, so what should I do? Should I do sit-ups everyday or something? How can I actually LOSE this fat so that it's not on my body? Is there a way to convert fat into muscle? Please someone help me :(

There is no way to actually turn fat into muscle, however it sounds to me like you are wanting to firm up and tone. Sorry to say, but exercise is the only way you are going to accomplish this. Exercise can be fun though. Don't kill yourself doing 500 crunches and 600 pushups every morning. Do something fun... jogging, walking, joining a sports team, workout videos...etc. You need cardio to shed the layer of fluff and some sort of weight bearing exercise to tone and firm your muscles.

Congrats on your sucessful weight loss. Don't give up now, you can certainly get the look you desire with some exercise thrown in there!

Thank you so much for the advice. So, if I wake up early and jog thirty minutes in place each day, will this help? Sometimes I take my dog on 45-minute walks. Which is better? And is thirty minutes of jogging in place enough?

I'm in the same position! Don't worry, it will happen but our tactics have to change now. In order to lose the last bit of fat and tone up it is necessary to work muscles with weights and also do cardio activities to burn the fat. You could have a really toned stomach through sit ups etc, but if you don't do cardio it will always be hidden under the fat.

Also, the good news is that the more muscle you build, the more fat you burn because muscle requires way more calories than fat just to exist. So...

At least 20 mins cardio activity like jogging or cross training, followed by a weights/strength training session at least 3 times a week should do the trick. If you don't belong to a gym, go for a jog, then get home and do sets of sit ups, lunges and squats etc. You can hold botted water or cans in each hand for extra weight & added impact. Good luck! :)

I excercise a lot, I run 3 hours a day at 60km/hour speed. And I loose so much weight, its the best way to loose weight, running.
