Hello,
I am new to this Forum, I have always looked into this website for working out programs and nutrition tips but I am really in need of help.

I am a male, I currently weight 198 pds, height 5 feet 7 inches. I have been trying to lose weight for the last 3-4 months but i have not made that much progress.

This is my routine,

Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 20 minutes of speed interval cardio and 20 minutes of regular cardio afterwards.

Monday: lower body workout for 45 minutes, then 20 minutes of regular cardio

Wednesday: upper body workout about 1 hour, then 20 minutes of regular cardio.

I have also cutdown on my caloric intake.

I keep friday as my cheating day. Cause it keeps me motivated through the following week.

I do switch around my routine form time to time. For some unfortunate reason i am unable to lose weight, my body fat percentage stays the same. I measure it ever two weeks. Its really disheartening even though i put my full effort to it. Genetic history, everyone from my mom's side of the family is overweight. Sometimes i just think i was meant to not slim down.

I am in need of your advice, any advice would help. I can not afford a personal trainer, that is why i am seeking you guys' help. any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for taking your time into reading this. It is greatly appreciated.

Hi Ali,

I have the same problem. I think it's because I'm still consuming too many calories. Have you done a breakdown of what you eat in a typical day? Try adding an extra 10 minutes of cardio as well. It will keep your heart rate up and help you burn more fat.

:)

Good luck!

There's a gland that I can't spell and I won't try, it starts with a P though, that can be a cause of weight funkiness. As in if it's messed up it may not allow you to loose weight, so talk to your doctor about it. I'm sure he/she would know more than anyone here. ;) just don't give up, and don't binge like I do everyday,
