Im trying to get myself back

Ok as I said earlier I lost 30 lbs this year and lots of muscle. Recently in life I dont even feel like a man anymore. Im negative, I dont do anything construtcive. Im failing college. I dont make a move with the laddies. My confidence is down at an all time low.....I need something to do in life to become my old self again, the person that won honor student awards, the person who could talk people out of sucidies and wouldnt ever even think about hurting himself. I need passion and the fire with in me to grow again.

So, does exercising dramatically improve attitude? Will excercise give me more focus and healthier thinking in life? My mind is so confused will excercise help cure that? If I work out and take care of my body do you think Id start to care about my life again maybe clean this horrible mess up? this room and this life?

How much does exercise do for you has it made you a better man? I need something in my life do you think this is the solution? Exercise?
 
For one to truely be happy everything must be in check. Mind, body, and spirit. One should be forcusing on each aspect equally, only then can you be totally happy with your life. A lot of times people will be unhappy with 1 of these 3 aspects. For example, if your unhappy with your body its going to negatively impact the other aspects like mind and spirit. Exercising regularly will help you feel good about yourself and inturn give you more confidence and will be the first crucial step for you to get everything back in order so you can be at harmony.

No. It's made me healthier which in turn has given me more energy and improved my general mood but it hasn't made me a 'better man'

I need something in my life do you think this is the solution?

No - You're depressed, you need to seek advice and support. Exercise can help assist you with feeling a bit better but it isn't going to help as much as you might be hoping for


Good luck with your quest to feel better but I think you probably need to talk more with friends or a councilor about how you're feeling. If you're thinking about hurting yourself or have already started doing that then go straight to the doctor asap and get therapy
