I am 5ft 1, a very short 25 year old woman. I was 60 kilos and I got down to 54.5 kilos using Myfitnesspal, which is a program that helps you net 1200 calories a day by tracking all your food and exercise. The thing is, I didn't realise I had to net, i was just eating 1200 calories and exercising on top of that and I was probably in starvation mode. I corrected this about 2 months ago, spent a couple of weeks eating much more than my allowance, and now I'm back to netting 1200 calories, with the odd day here and there where I go over by around 200-300. Throughout this my weight stayed the same.
I haven't had my period for about 4 months but I have no idea if this is to do with dieting or not, or if it's normal.
I'm aiming for 50 kilos, which is definitely healthy for my height. It's my ideal weight. The thing is, a lot of calculators have told me that my BMR is around 1150.
I'm wondering if this means I should be netting less than 1200 calories a day? Does it mean I should have one day a week where I eat much less? I'm really confused.
Also, importantly, I am really confused about how much I can eat to maintain my 50 kilos.
