I just delivered a beautiful babygirl 2 1/2 weeks ago.. Now I wanted to start exercising lightly, since nothing was wrong during delivery, the doctor allowed me to start before the 4 weeks pp..
So, I sat down on my hometrainer bike... And I had to watch, how I was pretty much done after 10 minutes light biking... I couldnt exercise during pregnancy since it was a troubled pregnancy and my baby wanted to come early all the time..
So, my question is.. Anyone else started with condition 0?? How can I build it up? I dont have much time to go outside and run .. My husband is working and when he comes home he needs some time for himself too.. So Im pretty much stuck to the house... Any tipps and exercises that can help me??

Need some serious help..:drool5:

do you have a stroller? put the baby in the stroller and go for a walk - the fresh air would probably be good for baby and better for you...

Starting at 0 is where a lot of people start... starting is the key.. and progressing from there.

READ THE STICKIED THREADS.. you'll get valuable information

If you're only 2.5 weeks postpartum, you do need to be careful not to overdo it, doctor's OK or no. If your lochia increases significantly or returns to bright red, you're probably overdoing.

Either walking or a few minutes a day of the exercise bike is a fine way to start. You'll gradually build up to more and more as you go.

I'm with Mal and Alley..Easy does it, A stationary bike is good and a walk even better. Congrats your new baby sweetie!

Thanks guys!
Yeah, I dont want to risk anything of course, and just want to start out easy... I just got SO shocked that even if I would wanted to do a full work out, I couldnt do more then I did. Those 15 minutes stationary bike was my full work out lol..

And that was just so depressing.. I dont know.. I just dnt know how I can build up some more condition.. (I dont know how to say that, Im German).. I am breathing heavy already after walking some stupid stairs.. And I am 19 years old...

I never used to be perfectly skinny but a healthy 130 for 5'2 was my deal...
