I'm new.. :)

Hello everyone. :)

I've just committed to weight loss- finally- and signing up here is going to be a way of proving it to myself!

In case anyone wanted an introduction..

I'm a 20 year old university honours student majoring in English literature. I got up the nerve to weigh-in yesterday, and noticed that I was at an all-time high: 217 pounds. I'm only 5'4" and female so as you can imagine, I'm worried about my health.

I was wondering if any of you have tips for someone new to the weight loss community? I've never really felt like I had anyone to talk about this kind of thing with before. (My boyfriend eats the same as me, exercises the same amount, and weighs 140lbs when he's 6'2"!)

I'd love to hear from any of you. :)
 
Well, now you have TONS of people to talk to. Either we have been there are are there. lol.

I started a little heavier than you in November. I've lost 20 pounds so far! (I didn't want to admit it so I only really started recording my weight loss from 206 lol) :D Lots of work and dedication and we can do this!! :D
