Hi all :) Im new and from the UK...dont know yet where in the world everyone is from lol. I havnt looked at any of the threads yet but will do after I post this.
Im having terrible trouble losing weight :( I had a baby 9 months ago and because it was a problem pregnancy and I wasnt able to do much, the weight just piled on. I put on almost 5 stone! Ive lost 3 stone but my weight has stayed the same for around 4 months now and im getting more and more down about it every day. Ive never used food for comfort but I find myself looking in the fridge and cupboards out of boredom. Im not working and am pretty isolated where I live so im not out too much either. Im in a catch 22 I guess.
Anyway...more later.

Hi and welcome to the forum?

Do you have a daily routine? I know that most parents do. It's easy to fit food in where it goes and not over-eat!

Staying busy and exercising are my first suggestions for you. If you are a stay at home, a good way to start is to go for a daily stroll at the same time every day.

Have a set time to eat your breakfast and start your day off right, everyday! You can estimate your caloric needs by googling BMR calculator and typing in your height, weight and age. It will tell you how much calories you burn per day without any exercise.

Write down everything you eat. Either on paper or in an online calorie counter (I use fitwatch.com). Set your target calories for about 500 less than you burn per day.. This will amount to 1 pound lost per week (sorry, I'm awful at converting to kilos, I think it's around 1 kilo per two weeks).

Good luck with your goals! If you have any questions, everyone here is really helpful!
