i'm new

hey, I'm new. I'm 18 years old and i weigh somewhere around 290lbs, the scale is depressing so i stay away from it. i want to try and get to a normal weight before i turn 20. my main problem is i am addicted to soda and energy drinks, mostly "rockstar",i can drink the biggest can they have in the 10 min. we get for break at school. i get allot of exercise during the day, i walk to and from school and on the way i have to walk over a large steep overpass that everyone says is a "killer". i also love music, my music interests stretch from soft rock to heavy metal

Any addiction can be overcome -if you want to overcome it.

Those drinks give you absolutely nothing but empty calories... Lose them...

Water is far healthier for you.

Spend some time reading the stickied threads artound the forum... there's a lot for you to learn..
