... I'm up in the gym workin' on my fitness. That should be my theme song.
Hey everyone! So I've been a gym rat the last few weeks to try and work off all the weight I've accumulated over the past few years, especially this last year while I was away at college.
In my first years of high school, I was 140 pounds at 5'3 and I played Varsity Volleyball and Soccer. I was eating like a monster, but was working out so much that I didn't really gain any weight. Once I stopped playing, I still had my eating habits, but without the workout. I started to slowly gain weight. By the end of high school, I was at 160. I was definitely biggeer.
Last fall, I left for college. With the new environment, bad sleeping habits, being away from home, joining a sorority and massive amounts of alcohol almost daily, I managed to gain 26 pounds. 26 in 9 months! When I came home last month, I was at 186 pounds. I definitely gave the Freshman 15 guy a run for his money.
So I'm home now and determined to work all of this weight off this summer. I want to try and get down to 150 by the time I go back to school at the end of August and work myself down to 120 pounds once I'm back at school.
I'm not too sure about what kind of exercise to do to work all this weightt off. This is my workout right now, can you guys give me suggestions to making it better? Thanks so much!
I go to the gym almost everyday. Sometimes I'll give myself a Friday off.
Stretch
Cardio - 30 minutes
Less intense Cardio - 10-15 minutes
Stretch
Situps.200ish Sometimes I do more.
Work on some ab machines
Stretch.
Weight training. I work on a few at the moment that work the inside and outside of my thighs, and some for my calves. I alaso do a few machines for my arms but I'm not too crazy about weight training. I only do about 10 ish minutes on weight training.
Stretch
Cool down on elliptical. 5 minutes at low intensity.
K thanks guys!
