I'm new too :)

First off I have to say I am so glad I found this forum I love reading what all of you post. Ok so me I am 28 mommy of 2 and have neglected the workout/eat right scene for pretty much my whole life. I used to be skinny then I met a skinny man who can eat giant bowls of ice cream daily along with every junk food known to man and not gain a pound….well we all know how this story ends wife thought that she could keep up with him and now she looks like an elephant….lol Ok so here I am in Mid August I started watching what I ate and working out daily I managed to loose 10 lbs the 1st 10 days I think most of that was because I stopped drinking 2 liters of soda daily and replaced it with water…lol Ok so here I am 5 weeks later and only a 5 lb loss. I keep my calories at about 1200-1500 daily and I walk 2.5 miles M-F on the track at work and also about 3 times a week I do a workout on my treadmill with weights in hand for 5 miles each time if I am at 3.5 miles per hour I have the weights and when I change it up faster every couple minutes I put them down and run my butt off. Ok so granted I know 15 lbs is great for just 5 weeks but I am totally bummed to not see anything else come off. Can anyone give me guidance? I work full time and at home I usually have to wait for the kids to go to bed so I have limited time but I am trying.

This is what I have been eating

Mornings
2 Scrambled eggs or Bowl of frosted mini wheat

Snacks
Apple
Banana
Strawberry
Grapes
Peanuts

Lunch or dinner consists of
- Broccoli with 98% fat free Chicken breast
- Green beans and a ground beef patty 98% fat free
- Turkey breast with veggies
- Healthy choice meals turkey breast with veggies or Salsbury steak.
- salad no dressing

I also have been eating hard boiled eggs but only the skin and pitching the yokes I was told this is good to have a little bit before actually eating your full meal.

Any suggestions
