I have had a child who was over weight for his age and height for years. He used to get picked on all the time. Always suspended from school for getting into fight because the other kids would tease and pick on him. It was hard for him to have friends focuse on school work or just plain out be a normal kid. I watched my son suffer like this for years with no way to help him. He struggled most of his high school career.
