Im New & Need Some Help!!!

Hi my name is kate im 21yrs old i am 5'4" and weigh 131lbs. My goal weight is 115lbs. Id actually like to be smaller than that but that seems realistic. Anyways how should i go about doing it? I started going to the gym today. Ive been eating alot healthier too cutting out junk food and fast food. Also soda too (altho i havent drank soda in months i dont really like it). I plan on going to the gym 5 days a wk mon-fri. I use all the novolus(spelling) machines and i do 15mins on the eliptical. Any healthy hints anyone could give me with either workout or eating is greatly appriciated.

I'm no expert, but am enjoying some success in my journey. There is alot of information, inspiration and motivation to be found on these boards.

What has been helpful to me especially are the challenges. Not so much now, as exercise has become a habit(THANKGAWD), but I do enjoy them and look forward to posting my progression in them. I have also met some great folks who share similiar trials and goals as I do.

Keep a journal if you can to keep track of what you do, so you can look back on it if you need to see what worked for ya, and what didnt.

Making small changes, but being consistent with them is great! Hope you are enjoying the gym! GOod Luck!
