I'm new, can someone give me some help?

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm trying to get in shape and I really want to take it seriously because I want to look good for the summer. Two problems I have though are 1. That I like unhealthy food too much and 2. I don't execrise consistently enough. I am 19, weigh 185 lbs and am about 6 foot tall. I have a membership to planet fitness and I was going 4 or 5 days a week for a while but recently have stopped going. I was wondering if someone could help me and give me a routine on how to lose weight. My area of main concern is my stomach. I would like to get thinner and get a nice tone to my muscles, I'm not asking to be a body builder. I just want a program that will get rid of my gut that I have and turn it into a slim stomach maybe with some abs.

Welcome to the forum. There is a lot of information in the sticky threads on this site that should help answer your questions. I suggest spending some time reading them. There aren't any exercises that will specifically reduce your stomach fat. Where the weight comes off first is mainly controlled by genetics, so the only thing you can do is lose fat all over your body. I would suggest counting calories as your main weight loss strategy. There are lots of tools available to help you do this. There are free online journals like Fitday.com or or you could use which is a free dieting software. At the same time you should do both cardio exercise and resistance training (weight lifting) which will help to maintain lean muscle as you are losing weight.
