Hello everyone!! My name is Sasha and I'm new!! I have 2 kids a daughter who is almost 2 and a son who is 6 weeks. I've been married to my husband for 4 years now and he is in the Army. We are currently stationed in Anchorage Alaska.

I'm really excited to start my weight loss journey, but need lots of encouragment -- I tend to cave when it comes to some of those rather "unhealthy" food choices!!

Welcome and Good Luck on your weight loss. I wish you strength and will power to overcome those unhealthy food weaknesses(mine is Pizza and coca-cola) Well, I hope you feel at home here!

welcome to the forum. You find a lot of support and resources here. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

We're nice people. :D

My wife and I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old and working out together she's lost 7 Lbs in 4 weeks. She's breast feeding so has to ensure she doesn't cut out too many calories and waking up to feed 2-3 times during the night has meant she doesn't get to work out as much as she'd like.

Here is what has helped her lose weight:
1. No bread
2. Swapping cows milk for soy milk
3. Make lunch the main meal of the day and not eating past 7pm
4. Having one day a week when she can enjoy the odd chocolate or glass of wine

it is great that you are welcoming someone in the newcomers section...

Whenever you decide to post on the forum - it is worth checking to see when the first posting was made and how many postings that person has ever made...

Sasha (branam03) made the first posting on 24th March 2007 (it is in the blue line at the top of the post) and she only made 3 posts on the forum (it is to the right in the pale blue heading area of her posting). As such it is highly unlikely that she will ever see your reply.

You are more likely to make friends here (and build your own support network) by posting comments to people that are currently active.

All three of you are new members so you may make friends with each other.
