Hi Guys!
i never did this when i first joined the site over a year ago (but i've cheated and not visited often, lucky i'm not in a relationship with this website,or i'd be in trouble!!) so i thought i'd do one now!

I'm triaxie, I'm 22 and live in the south east of england. i started putting on weight at an incredible pace (certainly quicker than i could walk!, no seriously, there is a big hill between the city and the campus and i was not doing a good job getting up it!) when i went to university back in 2004, in 2006 i decided to walk for an hour and a half every day and eat more sensibly (but i wouldn't call it a full on diet, just cut my portions and ate less snacks etc) after 6 months i got down to 10lbs away from my target weight (pictures of that in the before and after section) but i was reasonably happy with that and so lost motivation:( for the most part I've managed to keep the weight off, but I've just started a Masters Degree, which is pretty stressful, so just like the first time i went to uni back in 2004, the weights creeping back on! so im back! i found this website to be of great help to me the first time round and its always good to get and give support to others, so good luck everyone, i'm on the case!

You made the mistake of thinking this is a temporary change.

Don't let yourself fall into that trap again.

It's fine to reach a weight/physique that you are comfortable with. Understand though that this is not an indicator to revert back to your old habits though. Doing so will erase your progress.

Before you change your activity, I'd change your thought process.

thanks steve, though as i said i had managed to maintain the thought processes and maintain the weight loss for about a year, now i have a lot to deal with and i guess its just much easier not to think about what i eat. write an essay with a ready meal type thing! it's not that i've forgotton what i did and why i did it, more its slipped from the top of my agenda. but your right, do need to reexamine it :)

I think you misread me. Or, more than likely I didn't speak clearly.

I wasn't trying to say you forget how to do it. You got comfortable. Or you got busy. Whatever the case might be, you slipped.

I'd try and be more proactive with your approach in terms of mentally training yourself. Stay tuned for a pretty indepth look at some of the techniques I've used with success with myself and some clients in terms of human development.

It'll be a new stickie thread after the new year.

Best to ya!
