Hi Folks!

I am just trying to keep a good sense of humor here. I have 90 some pounds to lose and I really am dying a slow - painful death.

I have so many herniated disks from my neck to lower back and permanently injured ankles, that these injuries AND this weight causes me constant body pain - DAY & NIGHT!

60 years old AND Five foot 2 inches and 225 pounds just anin't cuttin it!

I just a few weeks ago threw out all my size 5 clothes I have been saving for 6 years now. I kept my size 7-8's with the hopes of squeezing into them some day. I used those stupid "Space Bags" that keep leaking air into them, but at least they store the clothes.

I have several EXCUSES for getting myself into this condition, including 2 serious accidents and my father being brutally murdered. He was stabbed over 50 times by his live in lover - He was 80 she was 37 yrs old...dah! Yes she was a junkie!

So... Couldn't AND Can't exercise and the depression threw me into a tailspin. I have leveled out now over the years... leveled out at 225 pounds!

I still work - luckily I work at home. I only make $250 a week - before NY taxes. I have some money in the bank from the sale of my condo in Florida that my deceased father DIDN'T MEAN TO LEAVE ME! I sold that and Hi Tailed it to NY to be closer to my oldest son (40 yrs old - whom I work for).

My youngest son (34 yrs old) and I live together on Staten Island. So... I decided that instead of watching the money sit in the bank and get piddled away on HIGH RENT and expenses... I OPTED FOR THE ZONE DIET while I still have some money!

It gets delivered starting this Friday!

I thought I'd join Forum and see how others are doing on their diets. I have been living on Veggie Soups I make in the Crock Pot and Apples. It has been a year now on THAT barely survivable diet and all I do is fluctuate by 4 pounds up or down.

Last note here... I am writing a TRUE STORY BOOK that might make OPRAH'S Book list. If it does... I'd like to look decent on the back cover Picture!

I'll be reading all your success stories! TJ

I can't get my ticker to display....BUMMER
