I'm doing something wrong, but what?

Hello,

I'm 31, 170 cm (thats 5'7 I believe) and 98kgs (216 pounds?).

Obviously I'm trying to loose about 30 kgs but I guess I'm doing something wrong, as there are no results yet.

I've started on a more serious note about one month ago, meaning a diet and going to the gym.

My gym program looks something like this (7 sessions of 1h each in the past month):

30 mins stationary bike (12-13km or about 8 miles, low-average resistance settings - feels about like a normal bike), then 5-10 mins on the treadmill and/or 3-4 series of various power exercises and at the end 15 more mins on the bike.

In my last gym session I've started taking l-carnitin - 1200 mgs 1/2 hour before gym.

Concerning my diet, I could say its a low calories one, with a slight deficit only, at least for the moment:

In the morning I usually eat either 2 fried eggs (dry fried, so no oil), 2 slices of toast and maybe 2-3 spoons of cottage cheese.
or
200g cottage cheese (6% fat I think) and a slice of bread.

My breakfast varies a lot, but I stay away from fat, oil and don't exagerate with the carbs. Usually some fish/chicken/turkey (either boiled or cooked using 1-2 spoons of olive oil) and various cooked vegetables (sometimes, maybe 1-2 times a week, potatoes or rice).

In the evening usually a bowl of chicken or turkey soup.

I can't calculate calories and I prefer not to become obssessed with counting calories. Concerning a specific diet, I prefer a low calories+low carbs one, but not too drastic.

I've already eliminated sugar almost completely and also sugar replacements.

I'm not expecting miracles here, but in one month, I haven't lost a single kg/pound, I'm still at 98kgs.

So what am I doing wrong?

Thank you
