I'm confused about what "healthy" really is for me.

i don't understand my life. So what would be a healthy weight for a fifteen year old girl who is 5'7? According to a lot of charts I'm right in the middle of a healthy weight range. That would be 145 in a range of 120- 160 pounds. I desperately want to lose weight. Body fat percentage is 18.99% which is the standard for atheletes. Bmi is 21. But I still feel fat. And my goals are around 115 pounds or lower. But people tell me to stop thinking like that.
But if u look at the pictures, you can still see fat on me!

Weight is a poor indicator, which is why the range is so large. I played sports all through high school and the girls that I hung out with were consistently 20-30 lbs heavier than girls their same height because of their muscle density (and therefor their BF% was much lower).

You definitely aren't overweight, so don't stress about that. The only thing you are missing is muscle definition. That is gained from cardio and weight training. As a possibly still growing women, I wouldn't focus much on weights, but more on plyometrics (using your own body weight). Pushups, squats, lunges, etc. Don't spend much time on ab exercises, as those are a waste of time. Instead, focus on core exercises, like planks. Just be sure that if you are working your abdomens, that you are balancing your exercises with back exercises. Same goes for every muscle group. You can't work biceps without working triceps. Don't work your quads without working your hamstrings.

Agree - you don't need to lose weight! You look great! Agree with allcdnboy - strength training and plyometrics would make a difference. Also, are you eating a balanced diet? Eating protein and veggies several times a day day in addition to carbs? I know in high school I ate a diet of mostly carbs (cereal, bagels, sandwiches, pretzels, fruit, juice), which fueled my athletic schedule very well but wasn't the best for toning up. Looking back, it would have benefited me to have more protein and veggies in there!

Oh, I stopped eating. I'm 134 pounds now. I developed an eating disorder awhile back but it used to be mainly bulimia. Now its atypical anorexia, binge/purge type. It's unhealthy, I know, but I'm getting help... don't worry.

Ya, I'm glad too. Once I recover, I'll be getting a lot more protein and doing a lot more strength training so I can build all the muscle back.
