Im a little chubby.

I've got a bit of a beer gut on me. So im a little chubby. But i want to lose it. Its not good when the wind blows against you and details your impefections.

Im not looking to get more muscle or anything. I just want to lose my flab. And not be overly skinny either.

So i was wondering if you guys could help me with some exercises and diets or something that'll help me lose my flab.

Time isnt important. So im not looking to lose it in the next week or anything. But i dont want it to take several months either.

So im your student, please enlighten me. :D

well I'm assuming you're male. There's no way to spot reduce the stomach fat...losing fat is a whole body effort, and men tend to store fat around the gut.
In all honestly, your biggest problem is probably a poor diet, accompanied by not a lot of physical activity, at least in the 8 hours you're at work.

Clean up the diet, by getting rid of the simple carbs (refined sugar, alcohol, and bread), increasing whole grain carbs and fiber, stick to lean protien (fish, chicken, turkey, buffalo, ostrich, and lean beef cuts). Vegetables are also your friend. Increase meals to 5-6 times a day, eating smaller meals. Try to cut back on carbs in the final meal fo the day...cottage cheese would be a good last meal.

3 days of cardio, 30 mins, at varying levels of intensity. You don't need your heart pounding to burn calories..heck 140bpm for heartrate should be sufficient for fat burning.

I'd suggest weight training also, but you can go with higher reps, lighter weight, and additional sets. This will burn a lot of calories too, will add some muscle, but will primarily tone and shape the muscle, so as you lose fat, you'll have a nice chisel'd body that start showing through.

I'd expect you to lose 2-5lbs in the first week if you go all out. On the remaining weeks, 2lbs weight loss should be your maximum. So, this will take a couple of months...really hard to say since I can't see your 'spare tire' or have any idea of the poundage you need to lose.

The important thing to remember is that lifestyle is what makes a person gain fat. You'll have to make a lifestyle change (food, activities, getting good sleep) to have the most positive impact possible on your weight loss goal. In 6 months, you can't go back to a 6-pack every night, and dessert at every meal...this change needs to be permanent if you want your weight loss to be permanent.
