I'm 23. I've never joined a forum like this before but am really serious about losing weight and thought I would give it a shot.
I'm technically overweight and I've spent a lot of time thinking about losing weight. I used to run every now and then but am impatient with myself and quickly quit any kind of exercise routine I start. I considered walking around campus my exercise and have stayed at a consistent weight for a while (a weight which I am unhappy with).
I don't really eat "bad food." My problem is eating too much food in general. I was brought up being told to eat everything on my plate, and I did.
The last couple of weeks I have gone to the gym at least 4 times a week doing cardio for an hour and weight lifting for 20-30 minutes each gym session. I can feel myself starting to become impatient with myself already though, wanting to drop the weight right now and not really seeing any significant difference.
Anyway, I'm new and that's my story.
